What personal data we collect and why we collect it

This section notes what personal data we collect from users and site visitors and why. Personal data is not just created by a user’s interactions with this site. Personal data is also generated from technical processes such as contact forms, comments, cookies, analytics, and third-party embeds.

Content Management System

The website’s core management is WordPress. By default, WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users accounts.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We are using WPForms plugin on our website.
Certain visitors to our website choose to interact with Contact forms in ways that require WPForms to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that WPForms gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who comment on our blog and; or wish to contact us to provide a username and email address. Those who wish to receive updates or response via email, we collect their emails. In each case, WPForms and Vision 360 Studio Ltd collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with WPForms. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
